By accessing and using the Receipt Scanner application (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this Service.
The Service is a web-based utility that allows authorized users to upload images of financial receipts, extracts structured data from those images using artificial intelligence, and exports the resulting data into connected Google Sheets ("Brandmar Holdings" workbooks).
To function, the Service relies heavily on third-party infrastructure. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the following data flows:
The Service uses artificial intelligence to read and extract text from images. AI is prone to errors, omissions, and hallucinations.
You acknowledge that the Service does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the extracted data. It is your sole responsibility to review, verify, and edit all extracted data in the provided user interface before confirming the export to Google Sheets. We are not liable for accounting errors, financial discrepancies, or data corruption resulting from the use of this Service.
We do not permanently store your receipt images or extracted financial data. Images are held in memory only as long as required to process them via the Gemini API, and extracted data is discarded from our servers once successfully pushed to your Google Sheet. Authentication tokens are encrypted and subject to automatic expiration. However, we cannot guarantee absolute security against unauthorized access or breaches.
You agree to use the Service only for its intended lawful purpose. You represent and warrant that you have the legal right and authority to upload, process, and store the receipts and financial data you transmit through the Service.
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We make no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
